1871 (7 Nov) EL from Ponce to London with fine h/s '2/-' mark also London ds. Endorsed 'per W.I. Mail' and with a merchant's h/s of 'J Cortada & Co., Ponce' at left. Fine. The 2/- mark was applied to cover the double packet rate and was possibly applied in Ponce.  £120

1942 (23 Jan) air mail cover from Trinidad to U.S.A. with plain brown tape at left tied by boxed 'PASSED BY CENSOR No..' h/s with '2844' inserted in m/s. Applied at San Juan, only known in use from Nov '41 to Jan '42. Fine.   £40
