There is a excellent philatelic handbook which is unfortunately out of print and hard to acquire but worth the effort:-

On censor marks the following works exist but again I cannot supply at the moment:-
Frank W. Julsen: "The Censor Markings of Surinam
1940-45", issued by the Netherlands Philatelic Society, Amsterdam,
1970.
For the real censor-mail specialist there is a series of articles
published in the "The Postzak", published by the Dutch Postal History
Society (called "Po & Po"), nrs 99 to 109 (1973-1975), author:
P.Chr.Westering.

1682 16 Oct) EL to Monsr. Andrew Russell Coopman, Rotterdam and endorsed 'Pr Capt Paulus Jan (?) Q.D.C.' Fine condition for age. A rare very early letter sent during the second period of Dutch occupation (from 1667). £800
1842 (18 Mar) cover from Dunfermline, Scotland to Surinam sent via London and Amsterdam endorsed, 'to be forwarded by Charbon and Son Amsterdam.' Dunfermline, Edinburgh and London ds's plus two line 'England over Rotterdam' h/s. Rated 'P 1/6d' and another which I am unsure of. Small tears to reverse. £75
1847 cover to Nickiere endorsed 'By Char bon and Son Amsterdam' rated 1/- in red and with Dunfermline, Edinburgh and London cds's. Clean. £60
1879 p. stat. 7½c on 15c grey postal card used to Germany with fine 'PARAMARIBO 20 5 1886' cds also three line 'SURINAME OVER SOUTHAMPTON' h/s and London cds. Fine. £75
1879 p. stat. 7½c on 12½c yellow postal card used to Germany with fine 'PARAMARIBO 25 2 1886' cds also boxed 'SURINAME VIA HAVRE' h/s and Eindhoven cds. Fine. £75
1906 p.p.c. with attractive vignette view of canal in Paramaribo, used to France with 2½c. Boxed 'SURINAME VIA HAVRE' h/s, Paramaribo squared circle ds, small 'T' h/s and French 10c p. due. £25
1914 p.p.c. from Suriname to Paris sent via French Guiana with Suriname 2½c pair tied by ALBINI cds's (a town on the border of French Guiana) and with fine 'GUYANE ST LAURENT DU MARONI' cds at left. £45
1943 (8 Apr) air mail cover to U.S.A. with 40c tied by Paramaribo cds. Brown 'Geopend door censaur Suriname' tape at right tied by 'Censuur' cds in purple and US tape at left. Light horiz. crease. £7
