Printed for John Stockdale, Piccadilly, London. 1801. xix + 443pp + engraved frontispiece, plates and large folding map. 2nd revised ed. Light browning to first few and last few pages otherwise clean in original half calf with later spine. 4to. Edwards wrote the History of St Domingo shortly after the 1791 slave revolt and criticises the French for their treatment of the slaves.
