MOLINEUX MONTGOMERIE Belvedere, Carriacou, 1875. Watercolour on heavy paper. Small stain at top right. 17 x 8" Described as being St Vincent I believe this is Belvedere Estate on Carriacou. Elinor Lascelles married Cecil Thomas Crisp Molineux Montgomerie in 1868. The Molineux Montgomerie family were plantation owners in the West Indies, and the newly-married couple travelled frequently between their West Indian estates and their estate in Garboldisham, Norfolk.
