(CH2) also very scarce two line 'AIR MAIL PAQUEBOT' h/s (Hoskings 1999). Endorsement by censor below h/s, 'to P.A.A. 31-5-40 A.W.'
It is believed that the AIR MAIL PAQUEBOT h/s was applied at the airport in Nassau to mail which was received from the ship after the Post Office had closed. This practice was halted at the behest of the censors. Hoskings however ascribes the mark to Miami.
