1898-1910 Watercolours and drawings of the Jamaica by a English artist, M.R.R. Allwood. Views include, 'Primitive way of making sugar, 14 x 9," "on the Way to Castleton," "on the Mona Plain" also several pencil drawings one of Bridgetown Barbados dated 1898. All mounted on large pages. (9 watercolours + pencil drawings) While not of the highest quality the artist certainly had the ability to capture the vivid colours of the Caribbean.
