Collecting maps and prints is becoming increasingly difficult as sources of supply dry up.  My stock is mostly concentrated on the Caribbean. You will also find a few old photographs here. I am keen to purchase fine engraved West Indies prints and C17th and C18th Caribbean maps.

Post and packing is extra.  Orders are packed carefully and covered by my insurance.    Costs are kept to a  minimum. Payment can be made by credit card (VISA or Mastercard), Sterling or U.S. dollar cheque.

Images have been cropped close to the frame of the map to keep file sizes reasonably small.  Actual margins will be greater unless noted in the description

DODD R. Plate 1. The morning of the 12th of April 1782, representing that Gallant Scene between Dominica and Guadeloupe in the West Indies, where the Commander in Chief Admiral Lord Rodney to whom this plate is most humbly inscribed is forcing the Enemy Line. The distant ship in the center is the Formidable followed by the Namur, the St Albans and Canada close haul'd to Windward, The Ville de Paris and her Seconds passing on the opposite tack. The ship to the left in the foreground is the Duke, exchanging her fire with a knott of French ships which are bearing out of the Line in confusion. London. Printed for R. Sayer and J. Bennett 1783 Large engraved hand coloured view in fine condition with good even margins. 24 x 19"
